The first of two Scrum Clinics will be held on Wednesday 4th of March down at Playford Park, Field 1, Levin, kicking off at 6pm for those senior club or first xv players and coaches who would like to learn more about the dark arts of the scrum.
New Zealand Rugby and Petone Coach Cameron Prouting, alongside Heartland Head Coach Aleni Feagaiga and HKRFU Stalwart Ryan Shelford will take you through correct techniques, as well as appropriate ways to train and prepare for the scrum. There will be pieces for the entire scrum to learn, so whether you’re in the front row, lock or loosie, don’t be shy.
Please click the link and fill out the form below if you are interested in attending the upcoming Scrum Clinics. https://forms.gle/69MfpJS45rHAmunq9
We also encourage those who attend the first scrum clinic to also come along to the second session which will be held on Wednesday the 18th of March at the Paraparaumu Domain. To give us an idea of who will be attending and which sessions, there will be an option on the above form to choose between the Levin or Paraparaumu Scrum Clinic, or both. Please make sure you identify which session/s you wish to attend.
