What we’re going to do:
- Provide automated external defibrillators to all affiliated rugby clubs in Horowhenua Kapiti.
- Ensure each club has a Health and Safety plan.
- Be the conduit for New Zealand Rugby and District Health Board resources
AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATORS (AED)
The Horowhenua Kapiti Rugby Football Union has provided and ensured all Senior Rugby clubs and grounds in Horowhenua Kapiti will now have access to Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) after the decision to spend the inaugural Hurricanes dividend to support the Horowhenua Kapiti Rugby Union’s Health and Safety Policy. Speak to your local club about identifying where their AED is to ensure the quickest possible response time.
HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
We are in constant communication with clubs around ensuring their Health and Safety policy meets the needs and requirements of their stakeholders. All clubrooms, changing rooms and grounds should be a safe environment for everyone.
