Horowhenua – Kapiti Primary Schools U55kg Representative
Rugby Team
2016 This is the
75th year the Southern North Island Primary Schools Rugby Tournament has been
held. This year it is being hosted by Mana. The tournament is played between
Wellington, Mana, Hutt Valley, Rangitikei and Horowhenua-Kapiti.
A trial is being
held on Sunday 7th August at Playford Park, 2pm – 4pm for all players
interested in being considered for the 2016 Team.
· You need to be attending a primary or
intermediate school (up to and including year 8) in the area between
Paekakariki through to Oroua Downs and across to Opiki and Tokomaru.
· You must weigh less than 55kg at the
start of the tournament.
· Must be
available to play in the tournament which is a 5 day tournament starting Monday
26th September – Friday 30th September (first week of the school holidays).
Training will not
clash with other Rep/Club fixtures but will follow on after rep/club rugby
finishes at the end of August.
