HKRFU Women’s Competition update – Round 3
Another fantastic night of women’s rugby at Playford Park as we wrap up round 3 of the competition.
The winter conditions didn’t deter the teams and the way they played, with all four teams prepared to throw the ball around despite the wind. Paraparaumu got the win over a spirited Shannon side 54-15 while nothing separated the COB and Athletic in the local derby finishing a 10-all draw.
Rahui had the bye.
Next week’s round of games see Levin College Old Boys take on Shannon while the two unbeaten teams in Rahui and Paraparaumu play each other on Field 2. Games kick-off at 7pm. Athletic have the bye.
