The signed ball from the Waikato team after the Ranfurly Shield game against Horowhenua Kapiti has been auctioned off. The ball was signed by members of the Waikato team and donated to our team after they heard about the theft of personal belongings from our teams changing room.
The ball was auctioned off for $265 on Trademe, congratulations to Yahn Franks who is now the proud owner of the signed match ball.
The HKRFU wishes to thank Mr Franks for his contribution and also those that kindly donated money to help the players involved in the break in.
