The 2014 Premier Club Rugby Competition kicks-off this weekend.
In the first round of action, Waikanae make the trip north to play Shannon at Shannon Domain. With these two teams finishing second and third on the table after last years round robin, this fixture is sure to be an exciting game of rugby. Athletic travel south this weekend to take on last year’s winner’s, Paraparaumu at Paraparaumu Domain. Paraparaumu edged Athletic 18-10 in last year’s semi-final and Athletic will be out to avenge that loss. In the other game of the round, Levin College Old Boys and Levin Wanderers collide in the Battle of the Levin Domain. There is a lot to play for in this game, with bragging rights and pride of the Levin Domain a key contributor to this contest. All games this Saturday kick-off at 2:45pm.
