This Saturday 6th December, the Horowhenua Kapiti Sevens team compete in the Central Region Sevens Tournament at Massey University in Palmerston North.
Games from the tournament will be broadcast live on Sky Sport. Horowhenua Kapiti kick-off their campaign with a 12pm game against East Coast before playing play Wellington at 1pm, live on Sky Sport. HK then play Poverty Bay in their round robin crossover match.
A top-5 finish in the tournament will see HK reach the 2015 Bayle…y’s National Sevens Tournament in Rotorua. The HK squad have been impressive in warm-up matches, including reaching the final of the Piri Weepu Invitational Sevens tournament in Wainuiomata last weekend. The HKRFU rugby community wishes the Horowhenua Kapiti Sevens team all the best for this weekend and in their quest to qualify for the 2015 Bayley’s National Sevens in Rotorua.
