This year marks 20 years since the Waiopehu College 1st XV had their most successful season. To celebrate their season the team will be getting together for the first time and playing against the HK Prezzies (Nua Hua’s) team which is made up of past Horowhenua Kapiti representative players. This game is scheduled to kick off at 11am at the Levin Domain, The HK RDO team play Wairarapa Bush B at 12.45pm then followed by the main game Heartland vs Wairarapa 2.30pm, Saturday 13th October.
This team had former All black Carlos Spencer as the pivot with lots of players going on to represent the union and other representative honours. Attached is a really great write up which summarises their season written by their coach Iain Fraser.
